Checknocrats Ltd was established in the year 1998 with the idea of supplying Security and Fraud Prevention Equipment. Since then, we have continued expanding our product portfolio to support the business demands and technological advancement in the financial sector over the years. We have continued to partner with world leading manufacturers, thus showing our credibility in the market.
In 2009, we embarked on an exciting journey where we added cash handling solutions to our product line, since that we have not looked back, and we have continued to spread our market presence and dominance across the region.
In 2015, we embarked on an existing journey with the additional of ATMs to our product line, with a strategy to expand our business reach and to tap in a market that was seeking for a change in the ATM supply and maintenance industry.
In 2019, we added Instant Card Printers and Instant Card Issuance Software to our product line, following which we have supplied over 400 units in Tanzania. The same year saw the rollout of Banknote Deposit Machine, that has become a highly profitable product for some of the largest banks in Tanzania.
In 2021, we partnered with Xerox Office Printing Solutions, whereby we have excelled in providing quality service and product the market with over 100 units installed in the year 2024.
2023 saw us introduce the next new trend in the banking sector. Smart Teller Machine (STM), which will allow banks to offer key product lines and services to customers on self-service mode, allowing quicker attendance to customer needs and improving the customer experience.
For the past 15 years, together with various manufacturers, we have consistently evaluated our existing products for market adherence and enhancements, and we have continued to add more product lines to our portfolio.

Our journey through East Africa
With a work force of close to 200 personnel across the region, we are the only service with such a product portfolio in this region to be present in all the major countries East Africa. This has allowed us to develop our products, share market trends, share product knowledge and technical knowhow. This has further allowed our product to be well developed in terms of software ability for the East African Region.
