Hitachi Terminal Solutions, specializes in manufacturing of Note counting and Note Sorting machines. To cater for the Tanzania, Kenya & Uganda Market, we have developed the machine to suite the Tanzanian Currency for counting and verification.
We have developed a unique product to suit the Tanzanian market requirement and reduce cost for the banking industry. Most of the banks have to use different machines to count and verify TZS and USD. We have developed a product which can count and verify TZS/USD/EUR/GBP, KES/USD/EUR/GBP and UGX/USD/EUR/GBP all in one machine at high speed. We are also in the process of developing a further range of note counting products for the Tanzanian, Kenya & Uganda market.
Recently we have introduced Ihunter 110 Model Note counting machine which is the new model after ST150. It is a one and half pocket Note counter with extra features and have technology to take on the challenges found on the previous model. It has all the features of ST150 with extra features to benefit the Banking Industry in General. The machine is also available as a Fitness Model IH110F which can be used as a sorter at the Teller Level.

NOTE COUNTER – IH110 Series & ST150N Series
In 2021, we introduced IH110 Series Model Note counting machine which is the advanced model after ST150. It is a one and half pocket Note counter with extra features and have technology to take on the challenges found on the previous model. It has all the features of ST150 with extra features to benefit the Banking Industry in General. The machine is also available as a Fitness Model IH110F which can be used as a sorter at the Teller Level. All Note Counters come with a standard 1-year warranty.
NOTE SORTER – ST350
We also sell, and service Hitachi 3.5 pocket Note sorter with the three pockets programmed for ATM/FIT/UNFIT. We have an installation base of over 500 units of Hitachi ST350 sorter in Tanzania and over 100 units across Uganda and Kenya. All major cash centres in the East African region use our cash sorters. We provide a 1-year warranty on the machine which indicates the confidence we have on our products
It is a very well tested machine used in most cash centres in East Africa. It was programmed in 2011 and since then the machine has been stress tested/used in various banks in Tanzania.
We sell and maintain Hitachi Terminal Solutions Products (Note Counters + Sorters) in the Tanzanian, Kenyan & Ugandan market. For all the equipment we maintain we have the necessary spares, consumables, and technical expertise to support the equipment.
Market Presence & Experience
Since the products have been launched in the month of June 2009, We have increased our market share to more than 70% in East Africa.
We have more than 80% market share in money counting solutions for the Tanzanian market, 30% for Kenyan market and 20% for Uganda market and are still expanding our range of products to cater for the special market needs.
We have more than 4,000 units of money counting machines deployed in the Tanzanian, Kenya & Uganda market.
